Emily Stavis
Import Manager, Shrimp Category Manager

Emily is responsible for managing all aspects of Stavis’ direct importing program as well as for overseeing all shrimp purchases.
Emily began her career at Stavis in the accounting office in 1986. After learning the accounting and international business functions, Emily moved to the inventory office where she was responsible for shipping, receiving and inventory control. In 1992, Emily moved into purchasing and sales, giving her a complete seafood education. Emily was promoted to COO in 1995, a role she held until 2005. Prior to working at Stavis, Emily worked in mortgage banking for Commonwealth Mortgage Company.
Emily currently serves on the board of the Newton Symphony Orchestra.
Emily graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in International Relations in 1984.
